Position: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Education - Neonatal ICU

Job Type: Full-Time (FTE)

Location: Everett-WA

Base Salary: $121,772 to $203,200+Best-in-class benefits

Job Description:

*The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is an expert clinician who may practice in a specialty area with expertise in teaching, mentoring, consulting, research, management and systems improvement.

*The clinical nurse specialist influences outcomes by providing expert consultation to all care providers and by implementing improvements in health care delivery systems.

Required Qualifications:

*Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing *Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or

*Ph.D. from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing *Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or

*Coursework/Training: Currently enrolled in a Master's, DNP, or Ph.D. clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing *Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or

*Coursework/Training: Equivalent coursework and experience will be considered (Example: Master's in nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing that did not major in the CNS role, such as those that are in Nursing Administration or Nursing Education)

*Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire

*National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

*3 years of registered nursing experience in area of specialty

Preferred Qualifications:

*Current certification as a CNS upon hire

*Current certification in area of specialty upon hire

*2 years of clinical leadership responsibility
