Resident Care Director - RN/LPN - Chehalis, WA New

Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Call Required

Salary: $78,000 - $92,000/year

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Resident Care Director to oversee and lead wellness services in an inpatient assisted living setting. This position is responsible for managing the Wellness Department, supervising care staff, and ensuring the highest standard of resident care by Washington State regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Wellness Department, including nursing, medication management, and staff performance
• Conduct health assessments before move-in, during condition changes, and per regulation
• Maintain up-to-date resident service agreements and care plans
• Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, and caregivers, ensuring compliance with care protocols
• Participate in hiring, orientation, training, and performance management of wellness staff
• Assist in creating the department budget and ordering nursing supplies
• Provide on-call leadership support and respond to emergencies as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Current Washington State RN/LPN license (Required)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Assisted Living (Strongly Preferred)
• Leadership and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (Required)
• Ability to be on-call and respond to emergencies outside of scheduled hours
• Strong understanding of aging, disease processes, and assisted living regulations
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills
